December 19, 1998 There's Pheasants in Them There Hills Past the far north point, turned to the southeast, I watched in amazement as a flock of 2 dozen pheasants burst from the trees, flew across the river just above my boat, and disappeared into the crevices in the limestone bluffs. |

December 19, 1998 Just a few miles from Bentonsport, there are campers along the shore, a common sight along the river south of Red Rock dam. This lucky soul even has an outhouse, for which I felt some envy. |
