The power of water, Ft. Dodge This is the dangerous lower dam in full flood. I took out with some difficulty on the far shore last fall, and had an extended discussion with a local peace officer. There is now an access point below the dam, under the towering railroad trestle south of Business 169/20. |

ramps above and below the low, but dangerous, Fraser dam. A local resident stopped and
showed me a snapping turtle during my portage along the way. |
