Enough water to be dangerous

Bus Hwy. 20 and the low head dam are best experienced from the river safely downstream. For such a low water season, there,s a lot of water coming over this dangerous dam. The low water has exposed numerous rocks, but more of them later.

After several months of recovering from throat surgery, it was great to be out on the sparkly water, even if it was only a foot deep most of the time. One nice thing about the water was that you could see the rocky bottom, and avoid the big rocks if you paid attention.
