State Public Policy Group/SUMO River Cleanup at SE 14th St. (Harriet St.) Boat Ramp and Park
We had 17 people and got this place looking much better.  This is the access to the part of the river that flows down to Yellow Banks Park, and it is quite scenic and filled with wildlife.  Those who use the park should be very grateful to the SPPG folks for their hard work.

Diane and Sarah Dixon put this together
First they had to find the place, then came the sign-in
We started out fresh and clean
This tire was coming out
No sweaty tired people here!!
One last (dirty and  waterlogged) rug for the pile
Victory
This wild bunch is outa here

This area was picked up last February.  It had not been picked up since then.  It is great that volunteers are willing to step in, but this is a city park, why is it so neglected?
