Doug Wood and his friends in Humboldt County have done a lot of work.

At Rutland Dam park, they have fixed the gates, built lots of picnic areas, added a park shelter, and put numerous benches along the shore.  A boat ramp has also been built to allow boats to put in for the trip up to or down from Willow Access.

Humboldt County has improved the road into Willow Access, which is near Bradgate.  Then they are building a new river access on the East Fork just east of Livermore.
